Damián Comas guest at Still of Peace in Pescara

Since 2013, Stills of Peace has focused on promoting reflection on the cultural, historical, and socio-political differences among peoples, highlighting their richness and fostering dialogue on the core principles of a civil society based on peace and mutual aid.

The event included the presentation of the project "Why not?" by Mexican director Damián Comas, featuring a discussion between the artist and curator Eva Comuzzi. The discussion showcased several of Comas’ video works, including the short films Cuerpos de Sal and Contro la Bellezza, as well as the feature film Lacanianos. Vice President Nereo Dell’Aventino expressed the foundation's intent to continue its focus on Latin America for the XII edition in 2025, announcing Colombia as the next guest country.
