Cuerpos de sal tells the story of two young friends struggling with their identity, sexuality, and the violence embedded in everyday life in Mexico. In a seemingly idyllic paradise, their experiences with recreational drugs spiral into a harrowing tale of resentment, abuse, and the darker side of human nature. The film is a bitter exploration of affection and desire, where power and justice emerge as consequences of pain rather than authority.
