Shaping Stories Through Art and Imagery
I’ve built my career as a true nomadic creator, traveling across continents and mastering multiple disciplines—painting, installation, screenwriting, filmmaking, and novel writing. My work is fueled by an unwavering passion for crafting powerful images and the compelling stories they bring to life.
Have you ever wondered where the mind goes during states of unconsciousness? Does the body separate, leaving only the mind?
Lacanianos is a documentary featuring top Lacanian psychoanalysts from Spain and Latin America, exploring themes like hate, the unconscious, and the repetition that governs human existence.
Cuerpos de sal follows two young friends grappling with their identity, sexuality, and the violence in everyday Mexican life. What begins as a moment of escape turns into a dark tale of resentment and abuse, where power arises from pain rather than control.
Malos Aires captures the tense intimacy between two characters, their unspoken emotions conveyed through lingering glances and silence. In this hyper-realistic portrayal, every gesture reveals the complexity of their inner worlds.

When I look at the world through media and social networks, it feels more binary and shallow, with people always taking sides. In that lack of nuance, I find myself drawn to abstraction—an art form that refuses to be confined by definitions. Its beauty lies in the fact that it can't be named or pinned down, offering something new every time you look at it. When I paint, there is no plan, just colors and forms that emerge naturally. I'm inspired by the sea, horizons, the "Stone Tree" in Uyuni, the gold repair of Kintsugi, and the monumental work of Riopelle.
Embracing Abstraction: Art Beyond Definitions
The event included the presentation of the project "Why not?" by Mexican director Damián Comas, featuring a discussion between the artist and curator Eva Comuzzi.
His journey led him from visual arts and sculpture to writing and filmmaking, though his ideas still begin with a drawing.
Damián Comas sees his art as throwing a pebble to disrupt reality, revealing new perspectives and questioning accepted norms.
Malos Aires, the debut feature film by director Damián Comas, produced by Quasar Film, will be presented at the Teatro Miela.
